Urban Ray is building the Physical Internet for mission-critical goods. We operate a fully integrated aerial logistics system that changes how cities move what matters most. By combining automated ground Hubs, electric aircraft, and an in-house logistics operating system, we enable secure, high-frequency transport across dense urban environments. The Hubs serve as autonomous exchange points for storage, charging, and package handling, while our BVLOS-approved, pilotless aircraft connect the network through the air.

At the core of the system is Ray Intelligence, our proprietary logistics operating system. It coordinates routing, prioritization, and real-time operations across the entire network, ensuring continuous and reliable performance. The system is live in Cologne and operates daily in healthcare logistics.

Healthcare is where the system demonstrates its value today, but the vision extends far beyond a single sector. By unifying ground infrastructure, autonomous mobility, and intelligent software into one operational network, Urban Ray is creating the Physical Internet for goods — a scalable platform for any application where speed, resilience, and autonomy are essential.

Cem Uyanik, Henry Schmidt, and Fabian Binz founded Urban Ray in Aachen in 2022. Together, they have extensive knowledge in the use and certification of unmanned systems, developing technology, and building businesses.
